About the Event
*We are looking for a volunteer to assist with a group styling of 4-5 clients from Auberle, a nonprofit designed to care for and empower young people who may be transitioning out of the foster care system, experiencing unstable housing, or are learning to live independently so they can thrive as successful members of our community.
Volunteer client stylists will work one on one with clients to select appropriate professional attire, accessories, and personal care items from the boutique for their upcoming interview or job. During the appointment volunteer stylists build a rapport with clients to build their confidence, give advice on how to dress professionally and connect her with other resources where appropriate. This experience will provide a woman who is entering or returning to the workforce with an uplifting, one-of-a-kind experience as she begins her career journey.
