Description:
What is EmployHER Pittsburgh?
EmployHER Pittsburgh is designed to remove barriers like access to childcare and transportation through pop up engagement events, bringing multiple nonprofit resources and prospective employers to the communities of women across the region. Each woman who attends the opportunity fair will be supported by a success partner to help them set and achieve their self-defined goals over a six-month period.
This Opportunity Fair will be held at the Commonwealth Charter Academy in Homestead. Participants will be able to connect with Community Partners, Employment Resources and work one on one with a Success Partner to build their Success Plan.
Event Support Volunteers will be needed to help set up, guide community anchor partners and other vendors to where they need to go, greet participants, and make sure everyone leaves feeling supported and respected.
