What is EmployHER Pittsburgh?
-EmployHER Pittsburgh is an initiative transforming the recruitment, professional development and hiring journey for women. We began EmployHER in Allegheny county in 2022-23 and served almost 600 women in the first year. In 2024 we expanded to Washington county and will bring this incredible community of empowerment to Butler county in 2025!
-EmployHER Pittsburgh will not only eliminate barriers to personal success and growth on the front end, but it will also save women, organizations, and employers time and money by increasing accessibility to needed community relationships and resources. The initiative begins with an Opportunity Fair at a localized venue, providing direct access to specially-curated community resources, local hiring partners, resume and cover letter support, free professional headshots, free clothing and accessories via the Dress for Success Pittsburgh mobile unit as well as hair and makeup by Ulta Beauty.
