20th Anniversary Black & Gold Celebration: Cookie Bakers

The Black & Gold Signature fundraiser is back! This year’s Pittsburgh themed fundraiser will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Dress for Success Pittsburgh and take place at the Energy Innovation Center on the evening of Saturday, October 26.

Guests will have the opportunity to bid on silent auction items, shop at woman owned/operated businesses, and indulge in one of the LARGEST cookie tables in Pittsburgh! As you know, Pittsburghers are serious about their cookie tables, and the record is currently 88,000+ cookies. The concept of a cookie table dates to the 1900s where it became a household name at church socials, meetings, and card games.

Volunteer Bakers Needed We can’t have the best Pittsburgh-style cookie table at the 20th Anniversary celebration without the support of our wonderful bakers! We are seeking bakers interested in volunteering their time and talent to bake a minimum of 3 dozen delicious cookies for our guests to enjoy at this year’s event.

Please note that cookies must arrive in a a disposable container labeled with the baker’s name and the cookie type at drop-off. No refrigerated cookies! Cookies can be dropped off at the Allegheny boutique (305 34th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201). Date/time to be determined.
